Challenger Sports Corporation ( is the largest provider of youth soccer camps and clinics in North America. This summer we coached 120,000 youngsters from the ages of 3 – 18 years old in over 3,500 communities within every State of the USA and Province in Canada. Each of our camps are week long day camps with programs running from one hour each day (for the 3 -5 year olds) to six hours a day for (8 and older). The majority of our camps are three hours each day and the bulk of our campers are aged 8 – 12 years old. We bring over 1,000 soccer coaches from the UK/Europe and over 150 from Brazil. In addition we have over 300 coaches working with clubs/organizations each spring and Fall on season long programmes. Our British Soccer Camps division has been built on not only bringing qualified staff into communities to develop the skills and techniques needed in the game but also on the cultural benefits of having someone from another country live and work in your community for a week or longer to help pass on their passion, experience and expertise to the developing player.

For 2017 we are looking to employ students who are currently studying Physical Education or Sports degrees to work on our camps in the USA and Canada. The contracts on offer are from 6 – 12 weeks in duration and candidates will be expected to travel from community to community each week and live with local families. Transport and accommodation is taken care of via Challenger by means of rental cars, host families or by hotel if needed at weekends.

Coaches are paid on a weekly basis and are given an ATM card where they can get access to their wages via any ATM. For coaches working in the USA we provide travel insurance. For coaches working in the USA we will provide a J1 Camp Counselor visa which allows the candidate to work for up to three months and then travel for a maximum of 30 days.
